Chinese Apps Banned in India

The hugely popular Chinese app TikTok has been banned in India. 58 more mobile apps are on the list which got banned by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.

According to the Indian Intelligence Agencies, the suspicious apps were posing a threat to the nation’s security by sending a large amount of user data out of the country.

The unprecedented step by the Govt. of India to block these Chinese Apps comes amid Indo-China standoff at the LAC (Line of Actual Control).

Surprisingly, the popular Zoom App isn’t there in the blocked Apps lits. There could be one more round of Chinese App ban in India and the Zoom app too would be listed soon.
