Android 4.4.4 update for Moto E rolled out in India
Here comes the great news for Moto fans, Motorola announced Android 4.4.4 update for Moto E users in India. Earlier in the month of June Android 4.4.3 update was announced by Motorola for U.S. and Canada for Moto series of smartphones. But for India Motorola skipped rolling out Android 4.4.3 update and directly announced Android KitKat 4.4.4 update for Moto E. A tweet from Motorola support confirms that the company started rolling out Android 4.4.4 update for Moto E in India.
Moto E users seem to be lucky to get Android 4.4.4 update on their mobile device sooner than Moto G and Moto X. Unfortunately the users of Moto G and Moto X in India have to wait for few days to get Android 4.4.4 update for their devices.
The update is rolling out in a phased manner and there could be some delay in getting the OTA (over the air) notification on your device. If you are eager to check, then you can look in the Settings–>About phone–>System Updates menu of your device. If you don’t get the “Android 4.4.4 Update Available” option in “System updates” section of your device then there is no reason to panic because OTA updates mostly depend on your mobile operator (carrier) and you will eventually get your share of the update on your device. Just be patient.
