Soon after Micromax launched its first Octa-Core flagship, the Canvas Knight A350, we could see another smartphone powered with Octa-Core processor, reportedly the Micromax Canvas Gold A300.
The ‘Gold’ word in the name isn’t their coincidently, as the leaked pictures indicate it would come in three color options: ‘Black- Gold’, ‘White-Gold’ and of course ‘Gray-Black’ reminding us somewhat of iPhone 5s. As we have a look at the back of the phone, the first thing that strikes our mind is the iPhone 5 and 5s, as the design of the Canvas Gold being somewhat adapted from Apple’s popular flagships.
Talking about the specifications, as per the MMXNewscaster, the phone is rumored to sport a 5.5-inch full HD-1080P display and a powerful 2 GHz Octa Core Processor, which will be backed up by a monster 2 GB RAM. The phone will also have an internal storage of 32 GB, which seems to be pretty good.
The Canvas Gold A300 is also rumored to feature a 16 MP Auto Focus rear camera and 8 MP front-facing camera too.
Micromax Canvas Gold will come with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, and hopefully, the updates will follow. Canvas A300 could be priced somewhere between Rs.21,000 to Rs.24,000.
The phone could be introduced to the market this Monday i.e. 16th June, as Micromax has a press conference scheduled on the same day for it’s awaited first Windows Phone 8.1 flagship.
